| I am a happy and free soul. In any given moment, I experience existential discord, not about my own happiness, but about what I see around me, and how I see myself fitting in, or not fitting in, to my immediate circumstances. I am deeply affected by my environment and that is something that causes me sadness at times. I believe that happiness comes from living the truth from within and seeing the good in things. |

| I am not financially wealthy, but I have everything I need to pay my bills, treat myself now and again to something I want, and give help to others who may need it, either directly or indirectly. I have great wealth in my heart, in the joy that I share in my work, and with those who are close to me. |

| It is a welcomed part of this life, a passage to what's next. If I die tomorrow, I have lived with zest, not passed up any opportunity that has been put before me, made choices that I have never regretted, and I feel complete, content and ready to move on. |

Is a person in control of his/her destiny ? Why or why not ?

| We are in control of our choices; we are in control of knowing what is true for us at any given moment. In that sense, we are the drivers but not necessarily are in possession of a map. We control movement- in whichever direction, forwards, sideways, or even backwards - thus are in control of whether or not we fulfill what we are meant to do in our lives. We are not in control of what the destination will be, only how we make the journey itself. |
Do you think it would be helpful for a person to read what you have said ? Why or why not ?

| I'm humble enough to know that what I believe is not unique. And I have experienced trying to help another person stumble through their own personal darkness without much success in shedding light with my own understanding. But perhaps making it available to someone for whom this would be helpful, and who may be ready to read it, would be exactly the reason for me taking the time to fill out this questionnaire! |
