| Grew up in NY. Studied literature. Lived and traveled in Europe and the Middle East for six years--spent most of that time in Jerusalem, studying literature and working toward an end to the Israeli Occupation. Now I'm back in NY studying law.

What is your opinion on God ? religion ?

| Agnostic - I don't believe in or practice any religion, but I believe the institution itself is neutral in that it can be used toward both positive and negative ends. To the extent that it expands people's horizons passed the individual and the material, it is positive. When it makes people's vision narrow and rigid, it is harmful. |
What is your opinion on love ? sex ? marriage ?

| I like love, sex and marriage. Society should encourage all forms of all three. |
Are you happy ? Why or why not? How do you think a person can be happy ?

| Yes. My days are filled with people I enjoy, work I find interesting, and a (generally) secure material base. For me, happiness is created by having the structures in place to use my energies in a way that is rewarding. |
If you think you are wealthy ? what made you this wealth ? if you are not wealthy, what kept you back ?

| No. I never really tried to make money - it wasn't an interesting enough way to spend my time and energies. |
What is your opinion on death ?

| It sucks for the people left behind for whom it creates a vacuum; I'm undecided on whether or not it sucks for the person who dies. I don't believe in an afterlife, but I like life, so it's loss is unfortunate. |

| By choosing a career that involves work that you would in any event want to do, you get to do what you want while earning a living. |

| My freedom. It allows me to pursue everything else that shapes my life in the way that I want. |

| Be curious, learn empathy, have courage and get an education. |

| Some people are, others aren't. It's a frame of mind. If one has the intelligence to see one's actions as a choice & the courage to actively choose, that person is in control of her destiny. |
